MINISTRY GOAL: To translate Scripture into the Amahauca language and train Christian leadership.
CURRENT MINISTRY: Last year we published educational materials and scriptures (Mark and Ephesians) with the purpose of motivating people to read and gain knowledge of Christ. We also translated Luke. This year we hope to publish Luke and dub the text on the sound track of the video series, '8The Life of Christ." Furthermore, we anticipate translating Colossians, John and Acts. We also hope to spend time in four Amahuaca communities presenting the Luke video, and conducting Bible studies and reading classes.
PRAYER REQUESTS: h Pray for personnel. The effectiveness of our rninistry depends on God's provision of a second team willing to live among the Amahuacas and be involved in church planting. §Pray for a spiritual awakening and receptivity to the word of God among the Amahuacas so that their bondage to sin and the forces of darkness might be broken. §Pray for our continued good health and for greater sensitivity to God's love, wisdom and endurance to do God's will among the Amahuacas.
