Bernt Rainer Wahl is a mathematician, entrepreneur and author. He enjoys starting companies, building projects, solving problems and is part of the UC Berkeley Faculty. He started the Scholar's Inn to provide a friendly place for visiting scholars and students to stay. His inspiration stems from experiences traveling to 50+ countries and being a Fulbright Fellow.

Bernt is an excellent host , a good friend, always polite and helping us in need . I've been in your home for 79 days , and were all very good days . Your home is simple and cozy . If you need a good bed and a good shower with a cheap price , this is the place .

Perfect location, really close to downtown. People in the house are great, and you can definitely enjoy the garden, eating outside or just relaxing in the shade of the big sequoia! Bernt is a great host. He has a lot to do, but he cares about the people living in the houses.
